Hi all, thanks for all your emails, I'm glad many of you have tickled your keyboards to email pickledpizza@hotmail.co.uk. Words of encouragement. words of wisdom, words of freebies, words of confusion! But nevertheless, mainly happiness! Cheers for the support! DeanPerry.co.uk has been online for a little over a year, but is getting hundreds of new visitors daily, and thousands of page views daily! But thanks to you! Every link, mention, comment or share you make is making a difference to this little old site!

So there's nine days to go before Christmas Day, or nine shopping days 'til xmas. (not the same since Sunday trading, eh?) I'm getting excited, but a bit panicky. So much work and so little time! But not to dissappoint.. here's a xmas polar bear...

(click on the pic for the full size version)

Not that Polar bears have anything to do with the real meaning of Christmas. But more on the REAL meaning soon.

Sat 13th Dec 2008 - 20.35

I've made a video of the 12 days of christmas... I hope you enjoy it!

Thurs 11th Dec 2008 - 20.15

and here's a little gif of all the ornaments...

Thurs 11th Dec 2008 - 19.15

Update! The 12 Days of Christmas now has a 'Part 2'! This all-new page highlights the new circular designs, gives information on the U.P.A.R.C. Tree Festival with extensive photography and also gives information on Lorri Christopher and her business, 'Holiday Decorating and Design'.

If you click on the '12 days of Xmas' link at the top of the page, you'll find a link on that page to the 'Part 2' section, alternatively you can click here or on the pic below to go directly to the page....

Tue 2nd Dec 2008 - 12.35

Seriously good news! The 12 days of Christmas Designs were painstakingly re-created into 6 full sets of beautifully made ornaments by Lorri Christopher, and once created, Lorri used her decorating skills to decorate a large tree in the Tree Festival. I was contacted yesterday by ----- to tell me that Lorri's tree had in fact won FIRST PRIZE, despite tough competition! Great work Lorri!

And... the tree, which looks magnificent, was sold on the day of the main event! I'm not boasting, just really pleased that my designs have been put to such good use, and raised money for a worthwhile cause and I'm currently working on a new '12 Days of Christmas - PART 2' page to highlight Lorri's work, the re-worked designs, the finished tree and a bio about U.P.A.R.C. - the charity all this was in aid for. When complete, this page will be accessible from the top page of the '12 days of xmas' link at the top of the page.

Sat 08th Nov 2008 - 13.30

All the designs have been reworked into circular format and are being transformed into tree ornaments over the pond in Florida. The deadline on this work was quite tight, so I had to spend quite some time on this to fit it into my schedule, but its a) Worth it and b) For Charity.

Wed 29th Oct 2008 - 13.30

I'm currently working with Lorri Christopher, a Florida-Based Holiday Decorator and Designer, who contacted me with regards to my 12 Days of Christmas Designs. Lorri kindly asked to use the designs for The 24th Annual Festival of Trees in Tampa Bay, Florida. The event is organised by UPARC - the Upper Pinellas Association for Retarded Citizens. The event is open to the public on Wednesday 26th November from noon. Keep checking back for updates, and when all the work is complete, I shall be adding a section to the 12 days of Christmas page, highlighting the re-worked designs, plus extra information on the event and more information about Lorri Christopher. Here' a taster to whet your appetite...

Mon 15th Sept 2008 - 17.30

Been doing some time-lapse photography of me doodling, and posted a few on YouTube...

Well hello!

It's been a long time coming, but despite several setbacks etc, I'm back online, all refreshed and re-born! So there's plenty of updates to the gallery to keep your eyes happy!

Sat 29 March 2008 - 22.00

Ooooh! Guess what? Cold potatoes ain't hot. No, seriously, I'm ever-so-excited, because my canvas print has arrived from CanvasRus! Woohoo!

Look! you can see how happy I am!

And I've added a link to their website in my links section. :)

I have to say, I don't often rant about this sort of thing, but I have to say, the quality is outstanding for the price. The canvas arrived promptly, it was well packaged, but most of all, the print quality is of a truly professional quality. Well, I'm not going to put it through rigorous tests, blow it up or submerse it in water. That would just be daft. But, hanging on my wall in Pickle Palace, it looks mighty-fine.

Wed 26 March 2008 - 19.35

I've added some pics to the Photography Section ! In other news, I was approached this week by these delightful people...

(Not the most imaginative name, but I guess it's easy to remember!) So hopefully, I'll have a spanking new canvas hanging in Pickle Palace very soon. They come with good recommendations, so I'm looking forward to see how the finished piece will turn out, but rest assured, I'll be giving a quality report as soon as I can.

Thurs 20 March 2008 - 11.00

Busy Busy Busy. Easter is almost upon us and I don't have time to breathe at the moment! But stuff is getting done WOOHOO!

Mon 03 March 2008 - 11.20

Hello! nearly settled at pickle palace, but although a lot has gone right, a lot has also gone a bit wrong, hopefully things will return to (almost) normal as soon as possible. I'm working on a project with a friend and fellow artist over the next month, more news on that soon, and also working again with Koit on another great fun project

Thanks LOADS to all the new and seasoned visitors for popping by, there will be some fresh artwork as soon as software problems are resolved!

Wed 06 Feb 2008 - 11.ish

Well, I'm not going to be online for another ten days, according to my ISP, so I'm using the internet via 'Cloud' in a grotty little McDonalds. >.0

The Pickles are officially in residence at Pickle Palace, the move went well thanks to massive help from friends and family (thanks guys) and the process of unpacking and re-organising is well underway!

Hopefully, I'll get some time to make some new artwork in the next couple of days, keep them peepers peeled.

If you click on the anim (once you've watched it a couple of times!) it'll take you straight to the Vector Gallery, which is where I've put a HUGE version of the finished pic! Huzzah!

A couple more pics have been added to the Manipulations Gallery,

And I had the results back from the X-ray, and the reason I have been so ill, is that I had Pneumonia. Which explains a lot, but although I'm still not 100%, I'm feeling a lot better now. Hurrah for antibiotics!

Also, David Tennant seems popular, My Vectorization of the 10th doctor has been No.1 in the Tattyworld users favourites for a few days in a row now.. Go take a look.. click here to visit Tattyworld.net..... and the eagle-eyed among you may have also noticed Mr. Tennant in the 12 days of christmas. Well spotted!
